Unfortunately, it is quite easy to label this game as a full priced expansion pack, as the missions are very similar in feel and look to the previous game. It's also nice to see your character giving hand movements when issuing orders while looking through the other member's visors. This is actually quite a useful feature as it is entirely possible to now play the game as a tactical commander and not fire a bullet throughout when you are in squad based combat. While you are limited to controlling the one character, you can now give orders while looking through the helmet cameras of your teammates. The game is once again controlled from a third person perspective, and can switch to a first person perspective for precision shooting. Unfortunately, due to the 24 hour time frame difference between when GRAW's storyline finished and GRAW 2's starts, technology improvements in the game are limited which is a disappointment. The ghosts are once again called into action and as the colonel says "you've really done enough for one man today, but I have to call on you again". However all is not well in Central America with militias rising up to take on the US forces and local forces in protest of this alliance with the US. Mexico has been saved, and the Mexican president evacuated to the United States to sign a peace pact. GRAW 2 picks up where the first game left off.
To an extent Ubisoft have managed to do this but it fails to impress as much as the original. It's only one year since the original game shipped and given the detail in next generation games, it was hard to see a quality game being put together in a year. Of course, with such a high pedigree and success a sequel was inevitble, however how quickly this sequel has come to being is a real concern. It was a marvel of technological genius paired with stunning graphics and intense gameplay.
This is pretty helpful when setting up online co-op games, which totally rock when you get your crew together to roll through the myriad co-op missions.The original Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter was the first real game on the Xbox 360 to show what the system could do.

First off, your friends list is easily accessible from within the game, making it a snap to invite your fellow PS3 pals. Unlike some other games we could mention, GRAW 2 features a lot of amenities missing from other online PS3 titles. This is especially important in the multiplayer department, where the PS3 usually lags behind the 360.
In fact, there are almost no discernable differences between the two games, so patient PS3 owners can rest assured that the same dynamite experience that 360 players have been enjoying since March is alive and kicking on the PS3. We've already covered most of the features in GRAW 2 in our 360 review, so the only real question is whether or not the PS3 version measures up. Fortunately for us PS3 players, however, Ubisoft's mega-successful franchise Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter has finally arrived on our turf and has lost next to nothing in the translation. Won't somebody please make a game with both a riveting single-player campaign as well as robust online multiplayer? As it turns out, somebody already did. While Rainbow Six Vegas and FEAR do a pretty decent job of satisfying that certain yen for tactical paramilitary combat, their flawed conversions to the PS3 leave a bitter taste in our mouths. After almost a year, we have to admit that as cool as it is, Resistance: Fall of Man just isn't enough to hold our interest in the PS3.
